Cheats Christmas Pudding

This is the best Cheats Christmas Pudding ever!
Your family and friends will think you are awesome!!
Preparation time;
2 x 5 minutes preparing
1 x 10 minutes at the end
1 x month for 'sitting time'
You will need:
1 x Home brand (or cheap as) fruit cake
1 x Bottle of Port, Muskat or similar
1 x container that seals well and will fit the cake.
How to do it:
This is so simple.
When you buy the cake, you will see the supermarkets have a few varieties. It doesn't matter if the cake is dry or even close to it's use by date - the older the better.
Unwrap the cake and place it in the container.
Gently pour 1/2 bottle of port (or whatever you have chosen) all over the cake.
Put lid on the container, make sure it seals well.
Place in a safe place (cool and dry) for around 2 weeks.
After 2 weeks, take lid off (whatch out for the fumes
)
Turn the cake over (flip it), youmay need to tip it out or use spatulas to assist.
Pour the second half of the Port all over the cake.
Replace the lid and put it away again( dont forget a cool and dry place) for another 2 weeks.
After this time, your Christmas Pudding is almost ready.
All that needs to be done now is to cut it into individual servings and warm in the microwave for around 1 minute (depending on micro).
Top with your favourite ice cream, custard or brandy custard.
