Your Dish
December 13th 2007 05:42
Don't worry about your dish.
I asked you to wash it,
but I knew you wouldn't -
you never do.
I cannot wait until you move-out
it will be soon,
but not soon enough.
You should worry about your toothbrush,
because I washed that and the dish;
but, I washed them in different ways,
and in different water.
Don't worry about your sweater.
You left it on the bathroom floor.
I washed that, too,
in the hottest water.
I even threw it in the dryer.
Oh wait, was that wool!
I asked you to wash it,
but I knew you wouldn't -
you never do.
I cannot wait until you move-out
it will be soon,
but not soon enough.
You should worry about your toothbrush,
because I washed that and the dish;
but, I washed them in different ways,
and in different water.
Don't worry about your sweater.
You left it on the bathroom floor.
I washed that, too,
in the hottest water.
I even threw it in the dryer.
Oh wait, was that wool!

Yes, it's about that resentment that builds up when two people live together, but don't get along anymore.
I think everyone's felt it to some extent.

Honesty in my writing is something that is hard for me, so this means a lot.
