Welcome to Tokenspark: Super Capsule Tokyo Blast!!!

This blog is going to preview, chronicle, and archive my fifth trip to Japan: May 14th to May 24th. My esteemed travelmate: Chris -- formerly my boss, still my tomodachi deluxe.

You can expect a lot of arcade geeking, cultural misobservations, ramen slurping, shochu-fueled soliloquies and rampant romaji. Barring my title I'll try to keep engrish fetishism and other gregarious gaijin gaffs to a madamada minimum. Otaku content a guaranteed rei (er...zero).

Tune in to see what the hell we're up to (cybercafe selection permitting).
