Yogurty-good Organic Skincare

Yogurt will forever be part of my diet. I love it so much to the point that sometimes I just eat this for breakfast but I am no aware of it’s skincare benefits. Let me share to you my new found knowledge.
Yogurt is a natural moisturizer. It has many vital nutrients that can help the skin’s supply of essential oils and enzymes. It helps reduce your pores too and acts as a natural exfoliant removing dead and dull skin gently thus imparting it with a youthful glow.
It’s also a great moisturizer as it can even out the texture of your skin and soften appearances of freckles and blemishes and work for acne prone skin too. WHY? It’s because of the zinc and lactic acid found in yogurt. It suits all skin type from dry skin to super sensitive skin.
Let me share some simple tips using yogurt as skincare:
A)Yogurt as pimple remedy: Blend olive oil, turmeric, sandalwood, honey, brewer’s yeast and yogurt. Apply to skin (face and body), leave on for 15minutes and wash.
B)Yogurt as exfoliating mask: Mix yogurt with orange peels. Apply for 15mins. Rinse after a thorough but gentle massage.
C)Yogurt as wrinkle remedy: Mix a paste of banana, avocado and yogurt, apply for 15mins and rinse.
D)Yogurt hand softener: Mix ½ cup of plain yogurt with lemon juice. Chill it for a couple of hours and apply to your hands. Rinse after the mixture dries out in your hand.
Simple stuff right? It’ not just good for our body but our skin as well…This will become one of my reasons to love yogurt more.
