The Most Important Thing to Realize

Remember the goals that you want to achieve. Not everyone has to do the same mundane thing. Its all about the attitude. Opportunity is what you make it.
I have had a revelation my idols are Tracey Cox, Dr Zane basically any sexologist. I would like to know how they made their career giving the average punter advice on relationships.
I told myself that I wanted a full time job a stable career but if I was to be a person that sits in front of a computer screen every day I want it to be more creative.
I’ve realized that I’m too young to be jaded and my mind is too active to be naive and vacuous like the rest of my generation. I have a diploma while everyone is busy getting their degrees it’s a highly competitive world out there but why do those snobby paying Uni students look down on it? I’m doing something completely different to them.
To be a writer you need an incredible amount of self belief and tenacity to go after it. Its not like I need to write a completely brilliant novel by the age of 25 unlike other things writing can peak at any age. It isn’t constrained to a time limit to achieve goals unless its something that you personally want. Of course you need dead lines otherwise nothing would ever be completed.
I feel so much liberated now that I know what I want to do. It’s a revelation for me, I want to write I think about it all the time. I’m full of ideas, I’m street smart I can read people well. At the moment I am content with my job situation I feel that its stable and I’m a hard worker. I’m lucky.
I never want to be average in what I do.I always want to stand out and be different. Be confident without the ego.
Now the next thing for me to do is just continue to write every day, read more things that interest me and research the careers of the people that inspire me and how they came to be where they are.
I’m grateful for the things I have : a great relationship with my partner, my circle of friends, my sisters, social life and work. I dislike people who have negative energy because I want more for myself but I know working hard will get me there. I will continue to do the things that I love because life is too short. Plus I don’t have that many responsibilities to tie me down. My only responsibility is to make myself proud.
