When writing web content you must grab the visitor’s attention. This is done through a captivating headline and opening sentence. Now that you have there attention you have to guide them quickly to your main points of interest, just try to remember you are not writing a book. Your audience is hurried, and impatient. They are people surfing the web to glean valuable information from a large pool of useless garbage, you want them to think of your site as a source of quality information so they return regularly. Your visitors attention span will be short, get your points or benefits across as quickly as is practical.
