Website: Yovia.com

Alexa traffic rank: 21,064 (as of 22th July 2010)

Need to apply to be contributor? No, just create an account and start blogging.

Earnings: Revenue share. You are paid according to how many page views you get and you can also refer people, earning a 2% of whatever they earn. Yovia also offer pay-per-post and freelance contributor opportunities each month. (They payment they offer is not too high but...)

Any referral program? They mention it, when they say you get paid 2% from your referred's earnings, but I still can't figure out where's the information about how to refer people or the link needed to do so. Maybe using your own fidget??

Payments: Using Paypal.
And, as they say:
Minimum contributor payout is $50. Contributors are not paid to promote products or services.
More info here

Do they accept international writers? Yes, they do.

If you are planing to start a blog or simply want to try Yovia, go ahead!

There is no limit to the number of blogs you can create and they pay you to post,.. and generate some traffic, by the way! They use WordPress and, to tell you the truth, I had never used this platform in the past, but it didn't take me too long to understand how it works.

You'll earn money every time your widget is watched and/or someone clicks on it (but... hey! you won't get rich doing this!). This widget is always present on every and all pages in your blog. More, you can also add it to other sites, or blogs you own. You can even use it on social sites like Facebook or MySpace.

Yovia is also social. Make friends and your visits will increase.

Something good: you can always see on your dashboard a graphic showing your earnings.

And something I don't like is... this site is so difficult when you need to look for information! But I just read on their Facebook they're are working on it. Good!

Well, my conclusion is that if you have something to say, start a Yovia blog. The payment isn't too high, but at least this could either be your portfolio for future opportunities and, you'll be earning so money meanwhile.

Happy writing!

Website: Experts123.com

Alexa traffic rank: 30,449 (as of 20th July 2010)

Need to apply to be contributor? Yes

Earnings: Both, flat fee and revenue share.

Any referral program? No (Well, I think there is not referral program, as I didn't read about it on their site.)

Payments: Not mentioned.

Do they accept international writers? Yes, they do.

Ok, so how does it work?

If you are interested in applying, you have to create a free account first. And then, yes, you can send your application.

As you can see on this site, it is a questions-answers web, BUT, becoming a paid contributor, you can answer questions and get revenue share from them, and you can also write articles and be paid a flat fee.

I had a look at their blog and noticed they have open a new opportunities for people who have already been approved as paid contributors: they can become expert columnist, choose a topic and write a minimum of 2 articles per month. (The payment is revenue share: $1.50-$2 for every 1000 pageviews.

I created my user account some time ago and thought: 'Ok, I'll check this later'. It sounded interesting to me as I don't live in the US and there are not many sites where 'foreign' writers can apply to.

But time passed by and today, thinking about a new site to talk about, I checked my e-mail and found one message from Experts123, reminding me I already had (and have) and account with them.

Ah! Apart from earning some money, you can also promote your site or blog which, in fact, is possible to do having created your profile as a user.

(Here's mine: http://www.experts123.com/users/9531/Angeles. Oh, yes, I still have to improve it, but that's how an Expert123 profile looks like, and you can also see you can add direct links to your sites/work and promote it.)

Well, hope you find this information helpful and... happy writting!

And, in case you already write for Experts123.com, it would be great if you could share it with us!

Write for BrightHub

I wrote from them, yes, but I had to "say goodbye" as I had, literally no time to follow the schedule. But I confess it was a really good experience. My editors where always helping me and giving me advise on how to improve my articles. There was communication, and that's really important, even more from my point of view, as I am not a native English speaker!

I read somewhere some people were having problems as they receive not answers from their editors and things like that, but the editor for the channel I was writing for was excellent. Well, she was exigent, but I think that's also important. You must follow the schedule.

And I learned a lot! About SEO, keywords and articles structure. That's why I'm saying it was a really, really good experience.

But, well, let's stop talking about me and start talking about BrightHub.

When I applied there was just one option (as far as I can remember!). But now I see you can apply for two different positions:

1. Editorial Community Channel Writers, and
2. Self-Publish Community Channel Writers

The first one is paid $10 Up Front Payment and monthly revenue sharing payments, and the second one just per revenue sharing (No up front payment).

You can more detailed information here: Writers Wanted!

And finally, some information about BrightHub.com:

Website: BrightHub.com:

Alexa traffic rank:2,195 (as of 22th June 2010)

Need to apply to be contributor? Yes. Click here to go to the Application form..

Earnings: As said above:
1. Editorial Community Channel Writers: $10 Up Front Payment and monthly revenue sharing.

2. Self-Publish Community Channel Writers: Revenue sharing.

Any referral program? You'll be paid $1.00 per quality Backlink As they say:
A quality backlink is a link from another website to your article on BrightHub.com. The site needs to be highly relevant to your article and offer good, useful content.

Payment method:: Paypal.

When do they pay: Monthly.

Well, I guess that's all, but if you have any question concerning this writing opportunity, feel free to post it here. Maybe someone already working with them can help.

Happy writing!
