Need to apply to be contributor? Yes.

Earnings: $350 per report.

Any referral program? No.

ConsumerSearch.com, according to what I read on the site, was bought in 2007 by About.com, and it is,basically, a site where people can find product comparisons, something quite useful, I guess, when you have to buy something but just need some information about other related products before buying it.

So, that's what ConsumerSearch pays, for products reports. I don't write for them, but those $350 are not easy, as you have to prepare good and complete reports in order to earn the money.

If you follow the apply link above, you'll be taken to a page with the main information about applying. You have to prepare a sample report according to the data and indications given on that page.

I think this is a trusted site, having About.com and The New York Times on their side and, although the work may - I guess - can be hard, the payment really worths it.

Here you have some related links about ConsumerSearch:

As you can imagine, not much information about people writing for them . But, in case you already write for ConsumerSearch, feel free to send us a post, we'l appreciate it!

Good luck!

FAQ's section: TextBroker FAQs

I think this is a well known site to work for. AlthoughI can't apply, because I'm not from US, I've read good reviews about TextBroker.

To become a writer, all you need to do is to create an account and, when you confirm your e-mail, you will be taken to a page where you'll submit a short sample. According to its quality, you'll be positioned in a concrete writer category. TextBroker writers, according to their writing quality are positioned in categories, which determine the amount writers can charge to the client.

Your articles are rated by TextBroker staff, and that's how you can belong to a determined category.

You can find more information here: How TextBroker works.

Some details:

Website: Constant-Content.com

Alexa traffic rank: 15.092 (as of 30th July 2010)

Need to apply to be contributor? Not exactly, (I'm explaining it below)

Earnings: Per article sold.

Any referral program? Yes. 5% from all the authors'sales you refer.

Payments: Monthly. Paypal. Minimum payout: $5

Do they accept international writers? Yes, they do.

Yes, they accept international writers, and I'm sure about that as I signed up, and I live in Spain.

As you may imagine, this is a place where you can upload either articles, photos or videos, and you will price your content according to several use licences.

You can also receive requests from customers and start working on them.

About how to create an account to write for Constant-Content.com, all you need to do is filling in a form with your name, password, e-mail, paypal account, city, and country, etc... (There's where I found out they accept international authors)
As I say above, about applying to be contributor, you don't exactly do that. After having filled up the form, you'll be taken to a 5 questions quiz. If you get 4/5 right answers, you can directly go to your account and start writing.

I have to say, I had 5/5 and take into account my native language is Spanish!

The site is very friendly and it is quite easy to find the information you may be looking for. The help section really helps and they also have a forum.

I signed up because.... Yes! Because I'm curious and couldn't let this 'international writers accepted' opportunity go away. I still have to take a look at it, maybe tomorrow, with more time, but my general impression is very good.

Now, the only thing I have to do is... follow the guidelines and try to write good articles! I'm excited about this because, believe me, this kind of opportunities doesn't exist in Spanish language!

Happy writing!

I wrote from them, yes, but I had to "say goodbye" as I had, literally no time to follow the schedule. But I confess it was a really good experience. My editors where always helping me and giving me advise on how to improve my articles. There was communication, and that's really important, even more from my point of view, as I am not a native English speaker

What can I tell you about LovetoKnow?

I found this site not a long time ago, and found it different from all other sites where you post an article and wait for clicks on your AdSense links. (Which doesn't mean I'm against them
