AIDS is far more than a medical and biological problem. Muslim countries are protected from HIV/AIDS due to religious and cultural norms. But recently they are facing a rapidly rising threat due to illegal sexual activities.

HIV prevention is underutilized. The social stigma attached to HIV/AIDS that exists in all societies is much more pronounced in Muslim cultures. Unwanted sex, adultery, prostitution, homosexuality and drug use which are the major key factors for spreading HIV/AIDS in the Muslim countries. There is difference between religious teaching and practices. AIDS depends on effecting change in behavior and lifestyle to break the chain of transmission. This is all the more challenging as it is injurious to health. Iran has introduced sex-education as part of the health curriculum at the school level. Well pharmacies are beginning to sell syringes over the counter to discourage the use of dirty needles which will very helpful to reduce HIV attack. Muslims must recognize that in many instances there is a gap between religious teaching and practice; risky behaviors that may not be allowed by Islam are indeed practiced. The main challenge is how to overcome this gap.

But the present scenario of Asian’s Muslim women is very poor like Bangladesh, Pakistan and India (Very small amount people are Muslims). Muslim women always have to live with her husband or with her family. She can not live separately
The segregation of Muslim women is common in Islamic countries. The women take place in different places to males For example school. In the flat, women have to live separately from males. Males are not permitted to enter into the room.
