Working from home !

This is post emphasizing on ‘Working from home’!
You might have heard that Heavy rainfall here in the town made people to stay in their house! I can’t reach to my office due to heavy traffic jams! These are now day’s common reasons for people not coming to office on time and prefer to work from home.
Do the big companies are really allowing to work from home. Yes, and I am also a big fan of working from home, At least for the flexi office timings. Companies are nowadays creating a flexible work environment. You can see more people passionate about this type of work culture. The company in which I am working is allowing at least flexi timings.
But working from home culture is not that much popular in my company.
Recent some surveys say that most of the people spend less than three hours working at home. So what these great people do at home? They mostly spend time on their children’s or watching the television. Some checking and forwarding emails and chatting on the net.
So basic question is should company allow ‘Work from home’ policies?
