Buckle Up & Save a Life!"
i spent a few hours tonight on my non-profit. i soooo missed doing that and had wished while i was away, i would have brung stuff with me. <soft smile>
i wrote Rachael Ray an Email. i know it's a long shot, but thought it's worth a shot and i adore her. my friend was just on her show, so maybe it's not that HUGE of a long shot. i have her actual adress and will send her my newsletter and such. i'm going to cut out a strip of our crosses to put on the envalope. maybe that will catch some attention. i have Montels addy too. i can't find oprahs. just her E-mail. i wrote hervia that but it's a HUGE long shot. i'd rather have her addy. i've been getting newspaper addys from all over, and news station addy's. i'll start sending newsletters and such soon. just trying to find some way of getting our name out there and find victims family membors for donating our crosses. i'd like to, not exactly replace, but put out my crosses as an addition. when you see our crosses, you'll know what these people lost their lives for. i know everyone may not wonder why these people died, but i know i do. if you see sooo many "Buckle up & save a life", and know taht many people died from no seat belt, some people may decide to buckle up. i know i would and if just one life, or a few lives can be saved, it's all worth it. i have a "Think Before you cross" Railroad crossing cross,and i personally know about four or five people i grew up with that lost their lives crossing railroad crossing, not wanting to wait. just a town away a couple weeks ago, a family went fishing. dad and son went across, little hirl on her 8th or 9th birthday ran after them across the track and was hit and killed. mom was hit too and in intensive care, trying to save her.

i read story after story of construction workers killed by speding motorist, while researching just tonight. i have sooo many crosses all ready to donate. i LOVE what i'm doing and no matter if it takes off or not, i'm liking what it's all about and where it's heading.

That is just amazing Tammy,

I wish I knew a whole bunch of people in AMerica that I could forward your page to and help to spread the word for your cause.

I see flowers on the side of the road and think this idea is just incredible... you are drawn to the flowers why not be reminded of the reason why they are there when you see them.

You are a truly amazing woman and I really pray that this becomes noticed by all the right people that you will need to make it even more succesful.

"Thank You Ash!!" <tear, lump in my throat> i am soooo pationate about this. i pass those flowers and roadside crosses all the time and spend sooo much time thinking about them, wondering what heppened and if it could have been prevented just by, not drinking, buckling up, slowing down, hanging up a cell phone and sooo many other things. my children and i where almost killed a few months back by a trucker on a cell phone. we where shoved right off the highway. my trailblazer started to be sucked right under his truck. EVERYONE behind us practically stopped. just dissapeared. everything was in slow motion. we where going seventy, so we couldn't just stopped. when he shoved us into the grass, my truck started tos hake badly and almost flipped, so we had to scoot back over towards him, being sucked under while we started to slow down. it was sooo scary. only two choices, flip from being on the grass tahts sooo not meant to drive on, or be sucked under a deisel.Tammy

Ash, It was such a close call!!! recently i had my aura picture taken and i was surounded by angels. <soft smile> we all are. we're never alone. i talk to mine alot. They probably think i'm nuts!! <grins> i saw one once at the end of my bed. such a peacful feeling. i even drew a pic of him after Wendi suggested i do so. glad i did. i named him Michael.

i LOVE how much creativity goes into the crosses we make. Kaitlyn draws the art on them. i paint, glitter and clear coat them. it's fun!!!
you should sooo love what you do!
