Work Depression

Milli looked up to the stars, and she thought they were a lovely site. Milli glared at the severe blue, and it made her see a lighter hue. It was a lovely colour, a lovely tone, it made her feel bright inside. Milli felt the heart light inside of my mind. It was lovely.
“Hey Milli;” muttered a tone.
Milli looked across and saw my brother Deter as he came over in order to sit on the chair she lounged on. It was two seater so there was plenty of room. He smiled at he as she smiled back. For a fleeting moment she saw the light in his stare. It made her feel positive.
“So have you got plans?” Deter asked as he glared at Milli.
“For what?” asked Milli as she wrinkled her nose.
“For tonight;” told Deter as he glared at her.
“Oh, I don't know;” muttered Milli as she shrugged.
“I have to go to work;” told Deter.
“Really? So late?” asked Milli.
“Really;” told Deter as he glared in an almost sour day. “The boss has got me working;” he muttered.
“That's too bad;” Milli said.
“I know;” muttered Deter as he winced as he felt his chest for a moment. “You can never appreciate the quiet and still until you are forced to move;” he said as he took out his car keys. “Then duty calls, and you march;” he added. “Then you march;” he shrugged before he stood up, and then began to move.
“Have fun;” Milli muttered from behind his shadow.
Deter waved a hand. Milli was already gone as he continued to leave. He didn't even want to smile, or say anything more. He had had enough. Milli was his witness. He was alone. Milli watched. He was the life that was to continue on in myth. As soon as he hopped in his car he drove, and only tyre marks were left.
“That's a sour way to go to work;” Milli muttered as I shrugged and looked to the stars were there was a lot of beauty still.
