About Me
I have always dreamed about the unknown, wondered if there was anything else out there. I'm not a fan of horror, per say, but more of the misunderstood and judged, like werewolves or vampires for example.

My music taste is somewhat colourful, ranging from Aiden and AFI to The Pogues and flamenco guitar artists.

The name's Bond, James Bond

August 29th 2008 18:07
Alright, everyone knows the seductive, charming and quick-witted secret agent 007. James Bond fills our need for action, love, and futuristic technology. I am totally looking forward to the new edition to the long line of 007's movies, Quantum of Solace. November is going to be my favourite month.

Here is the tough question for everyone out there: Who is your favourite James Bond and why? Use smart and witty comebacks and arguments.

Haircuts

What is your favourite haircut or hairstyle? Long and flowing? Short and choppy? It's interesting how you can guess someone's personality fairly well based on their hair.

I have to say my haircut favourite is layered and short. though I love having longer bangs, up to a certain point. I've always had short hair and I always will. Long hair doesn't work for me... on other people thought it looks great.

Pretty in Pink.

August 14th 2008 20:20
Hey girls, I've been thinking... how is it that girls got labelled with the colour pink? How is it that pink was thought to be a feminine colour, even when it looks just as good on boys? Now, I'm not a fan of pink, not at all: I wouldn't touch the colour with a 10 ft pole, but this question has been bugging me for a while...

Any thoughts?

Do Supernatrual beings exist.

The night. A time of darkness and dreams and nightmares. Do otherworldly things slink around in the shadows as we slumber...

Rules: There aren't any, really. Just write what you think and your experiences and what you believe. This place is for discussing, not arguing. Just one other thing: try to keep colouful vocabulary to a minimum

Is it not said that vampires have an urge to count? Isn't that why poppy seeds were covered over graves back in the day?

I find that interesting since on Sesame Street the Count is a parady of Count Dracula, and he loves to count things: bats, cars, whatever. Kind of creepy actually...

Go Daniel Craig. Totally my favourite James Bond. Pierce Brosnan (spelling is correct, i hope?) was too old for me to think him as a Bond, but Criag is perfect.

What other werewolf books/ series do you know of PurRot? It's so hard to come across good ones these days. I'll have to look into the Anita Blake series.

I'm looking forward to the new 'The Wolf Man' movie coming out next year. Remake of the original.

I would've thought that they lived for a very long time b/c of their regenerative power, unless they don't have it. But as the legends and stories go, werewolves can heal themselves very quickly.

good point PurRot.

Cibbuano, this is b/c his story is so innocent? Or b/c he was so to te rules that he wasnt? (if that makes sense).

Bryn, Jeremy Irons is an awesome actor, one of my favourites. When was this movie filmed?

Mountain Fog, I agree with you, but James Hawe shouldn't be catagorized with vampires: it would give the supernatural creatures a bad name...

Unfortunately, I haven't read any of Kafka's work... what genre are they? What are they like?
