Why do some conservative cultures blelieve cross race marriage is wrong?

It never seize to amaze me, why some conservative culture believe that cross race marriage is a sinful act.
A lot of Western conservative believe that all none western conservative culture believe that cross race marriage is a sin and any none western culture, that believe that cross race marriage, is alright, is of western influence. This is not true. A lot of none western conservative culture, never believe that cross race marriage is sinful, the East Asia conservative, I came from is an example, in fact due to its heavy influence of Buddhism ideology and Confusious ideology, any talk about cross race marriage to be sinful would probably get you been bash up by a group of very offended gangsters.
To my knowledge conservative cultures that believe in such concept includes Greece, Vitnam, India and probably some other culture I do not know about.
I mean personally, people do not believe in certain things for no good reason, while we respect the culture believe of those who believe cross culture marriage is a sin, (as long as they don't execute people for it) we never really understand why they believe in such concept.
