Pictures of Baby Miniature Pigs

November 23rd 2009 17:59
There aren't many people who have pet pigs, especially in comparison to having pet dogs or cats, but you know what? That doesn't mean they aren't just as cute. Piglets are very cute babies, even though as pets they are a lot of work. As pets, they're not like dogs; pigs are very intelligent and can get into a lot of mischief.

Check out these cute pigs.

Uncle Milton Rainbow In My Room

November 21st 2009 18:40
You don't see rainbows as often as you may like, so you can purchase a rainbow that you can play inside any time you want. This is not something that's recommended for children under 8 years old because of the small parts that can cause a choking hazard.

The Rainbow in My Room is a projector that projects a rainbow across your walls and ceiling. It makes a great night light to help get kids to sleep in the dark. The projector turns on when you wave your hand, which is pretty cool.

You get a bonus window prism disk for daytime rainbows, which is projected using multi-colored LEDs.

The projector is battery powered, but can be plugged into the wall using the AC adaptor.

You'll find that more people will be impressed with this projector.

Getting Over a Breakup

November 20th 2009 17:54
No matter how you look at it most breakups suck and most are hard to get over. Even in abusive relationships or relationships that end because of an affair, one party is glad that it happened but sadness that is accompanied by the breakup no matter how or what caused the ending.

In some cases, you may know the breakup is going to happen, and in other cases you may not. It doesn't matter. Breakups just suck.... Period... End of story...

But, that's nothing new. You know it's going to be hard, even if you're the one ending the relationship. It's just a matter of making it through without calling the other person or without changing your mind.

If you know the relationship is over, just let it die. In many cases, you just want to end all communication with the person. Don't drag it out and pretend you can be friends, if you know that's really not the case. Cut your ties.

You may be able to be friends later on, but you both need time to lick your wounds and to fully 100 percent get over each other. Even if you ended on good terms, you want to make sure that you give each other time to differentiate the difference of friends and a relationship.

Don't sit at home and dwell on what was. You don't want to dwell on memories and anything that reminds you of times when your relationship was at its best. There's just no point in it, and if your relationship ended because of an affair or anything like that, you don't want to trick yourself into thinking you can ever have that back. You may or may not be able to forgive the situation, but by dwelling on the best times you had together, you're not helping the situation.

Since you're single again, reconnect with friends. Make new friends. Go to the movies. Go shopping. Keep yourself busy, and keep yourself busy with people who you love and love you back. Your friends will always be there for you. Remember that.

Also remember that it's time that you think about your self. You no longer have to worry about your ex. You can do what you want to do when you want to do it. If you want to go to the club Friday night, do it. If you want to sit at home and have a girls night in, have fun.

Just don't eat yourself through the break up. Foods may help comfort you, but there's just no reason to eat an entire bucket of rocky road ice cream while watching sad movies at home by yourself in the bed.

Do things that make you happy. Be single. Think about yourself for once. Take time to take care of you. Take up a new hobby or try something that you've been wanting to do.

Common Pet Frogs

November 19th 2009 13:46
Frogs are appealing pets for many people and children because they are cheap, colorful, and require relatively smaller enclosures. When choosing a pet frog, it's best that you do your research before you head to the pet store or reptile show so that you know which frog species you want and so that you know how to take care of it.

Consider the following pet frogs

Robot Plays Rock Band on an iPhone

November 18th 2009 17:04
It's creepy to think about robots ruling the world. I mean think about the problems that happened in the movies 'Surrogate' and 'I Robot.' Not good things. Robots are awesome and can potentially have great benefits, but movies show the extreme downfall that may occur. I mean even in The Jetsons, the maid, Rosie, was a robot. I'm just not sure if I really want a robot taking care of my house; do you remember what happened in the Disney movie, Smart House'?

Robots are great, and it's pretty funny to think about a robot playing Rock Band, much less on an iPhone, but do you really want your life controlled by a robot? Think about it while you watch the video

Wearing Wigs

Wigs are great for many occasions, whether you're just looking for one for Halloween, or if you want to add something special to your clubbing outfit. Wigs have been popular throughout the ages for both men and women; in the 17th century, it was not uncommon to see men in white, powdered wigs and women with artificial hair

Tips for picking out a frog

November 15th 2009 13:21
When looking for a pet frog, you want to make sure the the one you pick out is healthy. You may think that by adopting a sick frog, you'll be doing the frog a favor, but it can get quite expensive in treatments and vet visits to make a sick frog healthy. It's just much easier, especially if you don't have the money and time it takes for a sick frog, to just purchase a healthy one.

When at the pet store, they'll more than likely have a few frogs per enclosure, unless you're looking at frogs who are known cannibals, like pac man frogs. You want to make sure that all of the frogs in the enclosure look healthy. If there's one sick one, you don't know if they're all really sick, but just not as bad off as the worse one

on Lip Tattoos

Consider laser removal, but I'm not sure if they'll remove a lip tattoo. Just something you'll have to ask. You'd be the first person to say that you can't get rid of it naturally.

on Scarification is Not a Cry for Help

November 17th 2009 14:26
2-4 basic types. Yes, there are many different reasons people cut themselves, but in general there are so many types of cutters.

You are right that most cutters hide their cuts, but those who want attention do not.

I never said they were considered mentally ill, but some cutters do have suicidal thoughts.

What I have said, is general information, which is true and not myths. If you know hairstyles and fashion, what exactly gives you the right to say anything medical?

I have given general information, nothing specific. I have not diagnosed anyone. I have not tried to say that if you cut you must have a problem and are suicidal. I said some people, which is not a myth and is the truth. I never gave anything specific in terms of ratios, percentages, or said that all cutters fall into those only categories. I also said that there were about 3-4 types, which doesn't mean that those are the only types of cutters. I never gave 100% specifics; everything I said consisted of 'about', 'may', 'some', and other general descriptions.

Sorry if I sound a little rude, but one blogger does not have the right to tell another what he/she should write.

on Navel Piercings- Aftercare, Jewelry, and Tips

November 16th 2009 21:59
You aren't supposed to take out the jewelry when you have an infection. The hole can heal over the infection and push the infection elsewhere in the body.

A keloid, is scar tissue, not tight skin. It's generally going to be seen as a bump. A line is not going to be a keloid that I've ever heard of anyway.

It shouldn't get infected so easily, unless you're not following proper aftercare.

Hopefully, you're having a piercer do it, and you're not doing it yourself, as that can definitely increase risk of infection and rejection, as you've seen so far.

Doesn't sound like your body is going to heal a belly button piercing ever. Not everyone can heal them.

If your ear isn't built properly for the piercing, a reputable piercer will tell you this before you get the piercing.

Journeywoman, what myths am I portraying?

Cutting and scarification are completely different. Cutting is generally more of a problem than scarification.

on Wearing Wigs

November 16th 2009 21:50
Wigs are pretty neat, but I've never found them very comfortable.

Morgan, you're not the only one who likes them for going out and partying. They're pretty popular. Because like you said, wigs do what you're hair won't. And it's a great way to style and color your hair in a way that it won't hurt your own hair.

on Caring for Pet Rats

November 9th 2009 13:20
Rats actually can't hold their bladder and will pee little drops while out.

Why didn't you just get a bigger cage? That makes more sense.

I'm quite surprised they don't destroy the puppy pads. If they do the dust can cause pretty bad problems, being their respiratory system isn't equipped for that.

When you get to yes they compete for your attention, and this makes them more socialable and loving towards you. Both will be attached to you, just as though you had one. They are better in pairs as they are social animals.
