When Worlds Collide: Man vs. Nature
August 8th 2007 00:56
I know I wrote about this and if I haven't, I should have. The collision of man and nature can cause some serious diseases. I talked about dangers concerning water fowl that now seems to be coming to a head with man vs. fowl vs. the insane humane. We can't hunt the problem but we can't control the population through humane ways either.
Bare with me and all will be revealed!
Canadian geese are no longer flying south because man has created a habitat where they can thrive under the worst of winters and propagate to the point of endangering humanity. If you don't see it, consider this. For me it has become a local problem as these pests propagate and leave an abundance of bacteria infested fecal matter in our lakes.
Yes these adorable geese are a breeding ground for disease. Their problems go from here to here, where animal lovers get involved, and so on. Yes even when some solution comes up(mine is hunt them down and feed the poor) the animal 'no life' activists are always against it! When it was suggested that the geese eggs be coated with vegetable oil to control population, it was too cruel for the dimwits who are effected by E coli on their beahes! Then of course you have those that find "other" causes to a problem.
Even a polluted lake can look clean and serene...keep that in mind!
