It seems like every day life becomes more and more demanding. If it isn't the down economy or gas prices it's health concerns, the rising cost of groceries, struggles with relationships, or something else. The list goes on and on. Many things are begging for or even outright demanding our attention.
It is important not to lose sight of the fact, however, that God understands our concerns. Jesus himself experienced so much stress in the garden of Gethsemane (see Luke chapter 22) that the Bible tells us that "his sweat fell to the ground like great drops of blood. God knows what stress feels like, and he cares deeply about the things that affect our lives and emotions.
