Fear in life! - LIve Your Dreams!

When did people stop caring?

December 28th 2006 02:59
Within each person lies a heart more unique than gold!
Fear - relax and unwind
No need to fear - understand!

Where has caring gone? Reading through the media yesterday I came across one story. A single mom, home alone with a little girl aged one, both were found dead. The mother had a seizure and the child died because she couldn't look after herself. The deceased ladies family found them Christmas day.

The people lived in a townhouse, so neighbours could have heard the girl crying. So why did they do nothing? Why didn't someone ring the police, child services, the fire department or just knock on the door? Come now - does the FEAR of getting outside our own comfy zone cost too much to care? Maybe the little one could have been saved by someone caring to do something.

FEAR causes so much procrastination, resentment, hate and other negative emotions. FEAR of someone different, be it their appearance is different, they speak a different language.

Fear can cause so much pain and misunderstanding. So why are people scared to care?

Fear is also good when balanced, at times saving our life! Like don't try to wrestle that six foot grizzly bear! or box with a huge kangaroo.

What stops you from caring? Love to hear what you have to say!

for now

Thoughts for the day!

Each day brings with it a new set of opportunities.

Some of these are:

* Before you open your eyes and get out of bed, you haven’t made any mistakes! Great for a fresh start.

* You can decide what kind of mood you will be in before you get up - this will help your day ahead.

* You can have that coffee to kick start your body and wake you up - good to get the body moving.

* You can be a little more patient with people who annoy you - just for today! Sometimes you need to take these people day to day:

* You can help someone learn a new skill - by being a good listener

* You can take more notice of what is around you - nature in all its glory. You may even see the birds fly across the sky - even in the city.

* Take time to spend with children or young people if possible - to keep your spirit young and feeling free. Ever seen an eighty year old person looking sixty? Then theres the person who is only forty looking like they are one hundred and twenty..

* Just for today don’t rush so much, you may just remember everything.

* Just for today change your perspective on a topic - you may just surprise yourself. It may be you may actually become interested in the topic or enjoy eating a new type of food.

* Just for today have fun in life and bring a little more laughter to your ears.

Hi Susan,

What a sad story. Breaks my heart thinking about it.

Some great tips though. I could use some of those at the moment.

Thanks for the read.

Love & stuff
Mrs M
