Ok, so here it is... my first movie quiz game.
The object of the game is to work out the movie titles using the visual clues.
Have a go, and please let me know what you think. Any constructive criticism is welcome.

One has s's in the title and that took me a number of goes to get because I never write the 2nd s. It is a pity you can't get some indication if you are close to the answer. Did you study games? I am really impressed. Anyway here's some more comments: maybe a few things like guns and planes are too generic(apply to many movies). On the other hand it could just be my slowness in making the connections. One I guessed right but didn't know what the blackbird on the brick meant. The one with sword & eyepatch I thought I might know but could not remember the name - a 2 part film? But I couldn't figure out what that ghostly thing with a face? was. The beans & franks - I couldn't figure out what the object on the right was. Hope that helps. You obviously don't want it to be too easy. And I'm really not very good at those things.

Yes the s's one is a bit tricky, I thought about having alternative spellings etc, but in the end laziness won out. So I decided to just go with the official name (as per IMB) the other way was too much work.lol
I think you may be right about the guns. Funny, when I was making it, as I knew all the answers, I thought it was too easy, but since showing it to other people, nobody has been able to get them all yet. I was thinking about adding a clue button, so when you pressed it, you get the first letter.. or something like that??
I didn't study officially, I love games, and wanted to make my own, so I started playing around with Flash a couple of years ago, learning from tutorials and books etc. I've just started my own site... Maybe one day it will even prove profitable!!
Ok, so the one with the brick (yellow-brick) and the bird is a crow (scarecrow); the white thing with the face - in the eye-patch one, is a bride - think start of movie; and the thing in the beans and franks one is one of those listening devices - in the movie someone sits outside someone's house using one..... did you get that one? "beans and franks, beans and franks".
I don't mind if people want to name them on here (just mark them "spoiler") it will be fun to see as people work them out. Also, not everyone would have seen all the movies so that makes it a bit hard too.
thanks for playing

no10 - it's not ghostbusters
no11 - got it
no12 - got it on this go Now that I know, it seems easy
no13 - got it but had to ask my son the name
no14 - got it

no18 - Just got it!!!
no19 - what'sthat thing in car My son says a boat steerer What's the red round thing? paint tin lid? wax for stamp?

A few tries made it much easier after the visual clues started to permeate. A clue thing might be good butmight encourage laziness.
My son is going to take a look at the other games.
Are the answers available?
What a talent you are!

I tried out the girlie game and didn't get anything first go. I was busy reading the little quips that were coming up. My son had a go and showed me how I needed to do a lot more clicking. We found everything except the nailpolish but twice the hairdressing ad was activated and ended the game - so annoying. A couple of bits I wasn't fast enough to get the things out but my son did it - no problem - he's 15.
Ghost game - he did first 3 levels and said it was good but I guess it was too easy for him to go any further.
Hope this all helps.
