What to do about Nigeria???

In one of my previous posts I have talked about Nigerian Scams... but while surfing on the Internet I found a blog of a nigerian citizen... one that looked very interesting and which made me think about this scam very very hard!!!
Nigeria:
It`s located in western Africa and shares border with Benin, Cameroon, Chad and Niger.
It has a total area of 923,766 km˛ and a population of over 131,000,000. It is the 9th most populated country in the world having 250 languages that are spoken there!!!
The idea is that the third industry in Nigeria is the Scam that everybody knows about... a scam that is making a lot of victims all over the world, victims that had transformed this scam in a 5 billion dollar business.
And we come to the issue of this post... What to do about Nigeria???
Because of the 4-1-9 scam many business men around the world have starting blocking Nigeria from having future contact with them and even comunicating with them... setting up email clients to block any mail received from an IP addres which comes from this country...
Nigeria will suffer more and more long term because of the lack of trust that is being promoted because of the 4-1-9 scams that have invaded emails addresses around the world... and because of the millions of victims of the 4-1-9 scams...
There is a real battle going on against the scammers from Nigeria and the only persons that will suffer are those over 100.000.000 population... and one point of view about this could be the question: Why let millions suffer for the actions of a few thousands???
Another point of view can be that scammers from Nigeria are doing the business in that country... they are constantly bringing millions of dollars into the country every year... and nobody seem to stop those guys. The scammers are doing better and better and in over 20 years since the scam has been working, only a few have been arrested!!!
There are a lot of people that are putting the blame on Nigerians for this scam and say that the quilt is divided equally to every citizen... and the argument for this belief is simple: They let those guys live in their country and let them scam people from that country, they elect governments that don`t do anything in cathing those criminals and more or less they participate in this scam!!!
These are 2 points of view found on the Internet relating to the 4-1-9 scams and Nigeria as a country!!!
I for one would not encourage drastic measures against innocent people to catch a few that are destroying millions of lives every year... but something must be done very soon!!!
