What it means to be a Follower of Christ

August 29th 2010 18:32

Last week Hine and I went up to the hospital to Oncology. If your wondering what that name means I have no idea. Except it has something to do with cancer suffers of which my wife is so I guess that is why they keep sending us there.

We went with an open mind and open hearts to hear what we thought would be a rather sombre account of my wife’s condition. Instead, nobody really knows anything.
A scan has been booked for my wife but that will not be until October.

Patience is a fruit of the spirit. In my understanding, it is something that evolves and grows. Meaning I do not have to ask God for patience, it will just happen. Not overnight you must understand but it will happen, and so far it has, praise God.

Now I wonder what the other fruits of the spirit are. To find them we need to take a walk over to Galatians. He we are chapter 5 verse 22. Now the fruit of the spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness and self-control. Against such things, there is no law.
