What is Your Favorite Song for a Sunny Day?

I can breathe a sigh of relief...it has finally quit raining. It has rained almost every day in June and July. I appreciate the rain. Texas drought filled summers can be brutal but enough is enought! I was becoming a stormcloud of a woman and I needed some sun. I have been slammed at work due to the lack of sunshine. Mental illness increases during overcast gloomy days without light, while decreasing during sunny cloudless days. My clients were begging for some sunshine. So many Eeoyores and not enough Tiggers. When it rains here there are lightning storms and toad choking rains not the "pitter patter"...or the "Gene Kelly" type of rain. Miswanderlust needed to be able to execute her homicide prevention plan....daily runs. I have been unable to run lately due to floding in area parks.... But God is compassionate and today for most of the day it was sunny......

This got me to thinking

What is Your Favorite Sunny Day Song?

Hi Mis, I'd love to be where you're at. It's been a miserable, rainy, cold day in Sydney. But at least our dams are filling up.

My favourite Sunny song is Beautiful Day by U2 as well. I'll remember to sing that if the sun ever decides to show itself.

I love "Beautiful Day"... it is certainly an expansive song in my opinion. Sorry to hear about the gloom in your neck of the world!
