What is it to be a uni student?
Does it take great self control, the ability to be your own task master, driving yourself to study more?
The ability to guzzle jug after jug of beer, live noon-3am days and walk around barefooted all day- no matter what season?
The passion and comittment to stand up and speak about political issues, the way our lifestyle is ruining the environment, and get involved in many community programs?
Or is it simply a combination of all of these?
Lets face it, nobody can survive if they fit one of these catagories 100%- every uni student must study once in a while, we all party a bit, and most of us are educated enough to have opinions about current events and the will to fix things.
This blog is a continuation of my old blog rawfish, which I can't seem to access, and will address the major and minor issues, the quirks, pros and cons of being a uni student in Australias Townsville.
Please keep tuned in.

i think it is consuming copious amounts of alcohol and it doesn't help with alcohol prices being subsidised on campus and 'happy hour' that go for 2.
my liver is starting to break down and i am fortunate in the fact that i have taken up another degree straight after my first one has ended so my poor body is taking a battering.

Also for myself, I'm finding flexibility to be a big part of it - things don't always seem to work out exactly as planned! ; )
Hmmmm, now I think I need a beverage or 6 before I get back into my referencing! ; )
