Earth Day is April 22. What are you doing for Earth Day?

My daughter and I will be picking up litter. Do you have any special plans, or is Earth Day just another day to you?

OH MY GOSH! I didn't even know today was earth day!! Is it like earth hour, where you have to turn the lights off - or is there more to it?

Hi Moonglow,

I am always smooching about in the earth planting something, or recycling something from this to THIS, filling vinnies bins, or reusing something for something else, so I probably won*t we doing anything I wouldn*t be doing on any other day. Something involving soil and conservation. I shower by candlelight anyway as I hate the harsh lights, but on earth day I read by candlelight as well (for a change) . . and because I am a romantic at heart

I love the idea of picking up litter, except where i live is so very clean of it as to make me feel quite proud, really.

How much did you end up collecting?
