They are working awfully hard on us to make us believe that the prospect of giving the self same crooks who lost or stole billions is making wall the market ebullient. Suppose what is making the market happy is that we have not thrown that money down the rat-hole. No one in the press or in power would tell us this if it was so. They, and this includes the press, have lined up already to feed on unearned billions they think they are about to receive…
