What Am I Making?

I like to craft I find it relaxing and a great way for me to release some stress. I love to create with what nature has to offer.
Recently I was on vacation and was able to find an old coconut, the outer shell was slightly decomposed and that was perfect for what I had planned for it.
I was very happy that when I went through the check point at the airport that they allowed me to keep it, but my boyfriend could not keep his apple he had to leave that behind.
When I got home a few days later I started working on my treasure, I peeled off one side of the outer shell of the coconut and that exposed the inner nut, with the inner nut exposed I cut the top half off and now I had just what I imagined. I thought to myself cool that was easy, but I still was not done.
From that point I found some leather strips and a leather string I had laying around, the strips were to give more support for the leather string so I could hang my coconut.
I then tacked them both together to the back side of the coconut with some small tack like nails and I then was done with my coconut bird feeder.
When the weather warms up I will fill it with sugar water and wait for the birds to enjoy it.
