Today there was a guy in my office who was discussing all of the jobs he had taken in his life and it got me thinking about mine. I realized that I have had a lot of jobs (and at one time). I can happily say that I was never fired and I made a lot of friends and many memories! Here are the jobs with the highpoint (hp) and lowpoints (lp)
Amusement Park: cashier, assistant manager, “talent handler” at concerts, office assistant
(HP) Kickass parties (LP) Family Christian night with guests who try to attempt an altar call during lunch rush hour
Bridal shop sales person
(HP) Eating lunch on Saturdays with my boyfriend (LP) Creepy bridal shows with 50 year old store manager always playing the role as “Bride”
Radio station promotion
(HP) Meeting some of my music idols (LP)Rabid groupies and pretentious pricks
'Greeter” at local bar (HP and LP) “Gentleman’s Night”
Coors girl
(HP) Easy no brainer job giving out promotions (LP) Drunk guys spraying beer on you to try and start wet t-shirt contests
Photographer's assistant
(HP) Learned a lot about photography (LP) Putting up with cranky family members
Model
(HP) Learn first hand about the "Mean Girls" (LP) Being surrounded by paperdoll people
Makeup artist
(HP) You would be amazed at how a little makeup can go a long way to making someone’s day (LP) See above
Supervisor of animal refuge
(HP) Great stories (LP) Dumbass guests harassing the animals and then getting pissed off when they were bitten or attacked
Teacher
(HP) Cutie patootie kids and supportive parents (LP) Vomit
Director
(HP) Great co-workers (LP) Stupid ass big boss
Pyschotherapist Great all around vibe: staff and clients
