Welcome to the Science Stat forum. I hope for this to be particularly relevant to two groups: the student and the professional researcher.
Not that far removed from being a student, I know that in class, concepts or techniques may not be clear. Hopefully, this will be a place where you can ask questions, help others and gain a deeper knowledge of your science-based subject (hopefuly, before the test). If you would like answers on a new subject or more complete answers on an existing subject, feel free to make the suggestion because you probably aren't the only one.
Although the researcher doesn't need to study for tests, they feel the pressure to use the correct method in the correct way or risk weeks or months of research time and data. I want this site to be useful for you too. Feel free to use this site to better understand what you need to do, why and how to do it. While this will most likely be most helpful to those just starting out, anyone starting a new project or branching into a new area could find this useful.
If you fall into a third group and are simply curious about science, you may find my other site - biologynews.com.au - more interesting. However, look around ScienceStat, you never know, you may become so fascinated that you become a scientist yourself!
