G'day kippers
My name is Aimee (yes I know, it's spelt the annoying way) but you'll just have to live with it - I do. I was born in Surrey, England, though I have lived in Australia since the age of 3 when my mother and father decided on a sea change.
We moved around quite a great deal when I was young... I can't remember all the places we've resided, and sometimes I wonder if my father is telling fibs to make things seem more exciting than they were. Either way, I feel like a true blue Aussie lass and I'm here to share my (mis)adventures with you all.

I've been here since 1971. I find I am more passionate, more fascinated with Australia than I ever was with England, though I do tend to write historical stories set in England - the Edwardian era tends to be a favourite.
I have never got over the thrill of driving for hours and not seeing another car. Isn't that silly!
I'm looking forward to reading more of your (mis)adventures.
