Weekend Failure
SOOO....I needed to write 10,000 words on the weekend to catch up with my Nano Requirement. How many do I hear you ask, did I do. 1000. I know. I should have both my hands bound and be forced to type with a pointer attached to my nose.
I kept thinking that I should sit down and write already as how could I report back to my blog and say that in two days I wrote nothing!!!!!!!!
You see. Its my birthday next week. And I absolutely, positively needed a party dress. So my ENTIRE weekend was spent shopping. Normally, this would have been a very good and successful weekend for me, although the whole time I felt a quite pinch inside me that I realised was my inner-writer trying to wake me up and send me back home to my laptop.
I guess if anything, this is a good sign. That im not just blowing it all off without any kind of guilt.
So I have made a deal (which by the way is KILLING me). I can no longer READ my book (im reading New Moon at the moment, and am near the highly-excitable end), until I am caught up in my word count. I know what your thinking..WHOA don't go all out with the punishment. Well let me remind you that I am obsessed with these books right now, and as I am nearing the end, it's a really really really HUGE punishment that I just can't finish the damn thing!!!!
PLUS I really want a new comp!!!!!
Well thats all from me. I have so many complaints about my story but can only justify writing about it when I have actually made an effort at it!!
Peace
