Wednesday Night NBA Plays

December 5th 2012 18:49
Recap from last night: it was not the greatest night with some guys performing well while other struggled. Kobe was my main man last night grabbing 48 fantasy points but there were some large scores last night and even with me finishing with 253 fantasy points I did not cash. I move onto tonight in which we have a big card so there are plenty of options out there. Here is what guys I am looking at for tonight.

Guard:

Rajon Rondo vs. Minnesota: Rondo brings his 31.1 fantasy point to the court tonight after serving his two game suspensions. Rondo will face a Minnesota team who allows the third most fantasy points to point guards (36.8 FPG). Rondo should be well rested and plenty excited to get back on the court tonight. I think we see Rondo do his thing tonight and have a big night to lead his team to victory.

Aaron Affalo vs. Utah: Affalo has been starting to heat up his last two games averaging 34 fantasy points his last two games in which that was against Golden State and LA Lakers who both rank in the top 10 for fewest points allowed per game to shooting guards. Affalo now gets a matchup against a Utah team that is allowing 34.9 fantasy points per game to shooting guards ranking them 5th worse in the league. The price tag on Affalo is nice and so should his stat line tonight be.

Mo Williams vs. Orlando: Mo Williams went into a bit of a slump after starting the season tearing up the fantasy stats. I have a feeling his ankle injury was nagging a tad longer than to begin with. After missing three games while seeing his price tag come down to a reasonable amount now is the time to get him back in the lineup. Tonight he faces an Orlando team who is allowing 33.1 fantasy points per game to point guards and Williams is heating up. Since coming back from injury he had 18, 23 and 31 fantasy points all in order. Price is right on him and he should perform well tonight for you.

Forwards:

Carmelo Anthony vs. Charlotte Bobcats: What can I saw about Melo. He has been on fire this season averaging 35.3 fantasy points per game in which he is playing 36 minutes per game. That is almost 1 point per minute he is on the court. Melo will face a Charlotte team who is allowing the 6th most fantasy points to small forwards (35.8 FPGA). The Bobcats could be in for a hurting tonight since Melo is averaging 41 fantasy points per game the last four games. I think he is going to be worth the money tonight against this Charlotte defense.

Antwan Jamison vs. New Orleans Hornets: This play here is a solid cheap option to look at tonight if using guys like Melo, Rondo and so on. Jamison comes with a cheap price tag that should put up big numbers tonight. Pau Gasol looks to be sitting another night so we will see Jamison get 30 plus minutes of work tonight. Jamison his last three games since seeing his minutes increase is averaging 31.7 fantasy points per game. Look for the same from him tonight since most teams are worried about stopping Kobe and Dwight and will forget about guys like Jamison.

Blake Griffin vs. Dallas: Griffin has had his nights this season where he put up outstanding fantast numbers and then there have been nights were he did not meet his price tag. Tonight is one of those nights I think we see him meeting expectation. Griffin takes on a Dallas team who will be without Dirk Nowitzki still so Blake gets Elton Brand and Shawn Mario who will be trying to contain him tonight. Dallas has struggled containing power forwards this season, allowing 40.5 fantasy points per game ranking them 27th in the league. Look for the much faster and stronger Griffin to take control of Brand and Marion tonight and have a big night for the Clippers.

Center:

Al Horford vs. Denver: This is one of my favorite players tonight. Horford gets a matchup with a Denver defense who is allowing the most fantasy points to Centers this season (41.4 FPGA). Horford has been a beast as of late with five double-doubles in six games while missing a triple double in one of those games by one rebound. We should see Horford put a nice stat line up all the way across the borard tonight since Denver does allow 100.47 points per game, 50 rebounds per game, 6.6 blocks per game, 9.1 steals per game and 23.7 assists per game. I am big on Horford tonight since I see plenty of upside with him.

Andrea Bargnani vs. Sacramento: If you do not want to pay the price for Horford then you can go a tad bit cheaper and look at Bargnani from Toronto. Bargnani takes on a Sacramento defense that gets lazy at times in which he will take advantage of. The Kings allow 100.5 points per game this season, 52.5 rebounds per game, 6.7 blocks per game, 7.6 steals per game and 22.4 assists per game. Bargnani is one of those guys who can put up a solid stat line all the way across. Look for something like that from him tonight against this Sacramento defense that is far from impressive.

Hope this information is able to help you fantasy addicts that are getting involved in the daily games. If you have not tried it out then you are missing out on some fun and need to get over to one of those daily sites and partake in the daily fantasy fun.

Good Luck Everyone!
