wednesday 18th - 1 hour
started off at a quick pace and did a hilly loop including the big long run hill, then met greta and ran with her, getting into a good rhythm at probably around 4:30 mins/k, just ticking over and getting into the recovery side of todays run. then after i left, was still feeling good, so attacked another hill, and finished off quick, with a final km of 4:00 mins and speeding up through the last 500m.
felt absolutely awful when i woke up, but quickly started feeling better. a bit iffy when i started running, but i soon warmed to it, and got into the rhythm. not too hard, so some good recovery, but also some good hills and fast parts. feeling good, and think ive played it perfectly for the weekend race. may not run the best time ever, but should do well, the best i can expect at the moment. still expect to improve again next time i do 3000m after this weekend.
build back up to 1:15 for next week.
