WeBook

My recommendation is that if you're looking to write something like a novel or short story, or in fact pretty much a piece of literature like you could buy in a bookstore then I'd advise visiting WeBook. It has a nice little tool which allows you to create a project, which can be anything you like, and from there you can choose to work alone or invite other members to work together.
This website is quite funky as one of the bonus' it offers is the chance to get your work officially published for free. This happens by you submitting a piece of your work to be voted upon and the top selection get published.
This is the best site I came across. If anyone else has any other websites that they use for this kind of thing, feel free to leave me a comment letting my know. Thanks.
Oh I forgot to mention that WeBook is free to use as you dont earn money from posting or from people visiting your work. It's more of a community where you write purely for pleasure.
