Drawing Demonic Tattoos

June 9th 2009 21:12
The design of demonic tattoos is something that I have drawn for years, the dark creatures that live in my mind, but when I start to draw, it is a good chance that a demon comes out most of time.

Demons can have many variations of design that there are infinite demonic concepts that you can create, in this hubpage article I go through a few simple steps to create a demonic art tattoo.

Designing a tattoo is fun, especially a demonic one. So go and see how you draw a demonic tattoo

Today I thought I would extend an invitation to any fantasy artist, so that you could include a link back to your fantasy art website, blog or gallery, no matter what it is.

I just thought that this would be a good exercise to get the chance to see other artists work and further inspire anyone to draw more fantasy art.

So just leave your comments below with your fantasy art links and also this could provide some extra traffic back to your site, so go ahead....let's see those fantasy art masterpieces!!!.

When it comes to comic books, this is something I know a lot about and there are thousands of comic books out there, but only a handful that will inspire you to draw and create more fantasy concepts. I have been a long time collector of comic books and the visual medium that the comic provides is one of the best types of art around, art that tells a story with each picture is like directing a film of your very own, taking into consideration angles and lighting.

If you've never read any comcis, then you need to start and start right now, as this is a visual media that has been very popular for many years and it is one that will always be so, there are lots of artists out there who have either been trained in the art or self taught or sometimes they may not have been a long term comic book fan

Skull Art Is Very Popular

I enjoy drawing skull art, the range of skull art that you could potentially draw for tattoos and any other designs.

The drawing of skulls can be bloody skulls, flaming skulls, tribal skulls, stone skulls, the skull designs are limitless that you can create

Castles Of Fantasy Art

June 2nd 2009 13:21
For sometime, I had been searching the internet for a fantasy castle drawing tutorial, but there didn't seem to be any good ones, so I thought I'd have a try at it, again on hubpages as my base of operational platform for these drawing tutorials.

There is just something fantastical about fantasy castles, you can draw them anyway you want or the same way you want, here is that castle drawing tutorial - Drawing Castles Of Fantasy

The Drawing Of Trolls

June 2nd 2009 13:09
Drawing trolls and ugly trolls especially is what makes fantasy art really great, from inspirations like Warhammer to even comic books, trolls are great to draw.

I consider trolls to be different from each other, all are possibly ugly, but none are the same, which makes them rather unique, over again on hubpages I wrote and drew a simple step by step tutorial on how to draw an ugly troll and through it I enjoyed the process of seeing a step by step troll drawing emerge

The Art Of Using Sketchbooks

June 2nd 2009 13:01
Sketchbooks are really useful for any artist, obviously they have that quality of archiving old drawings and even unfinished drawings and if you have that many like me then you will have a lot of old sketches that you probably forgot about and so here I have some of them old examples from over ten years ago.

Keeping unfinished ideas and sketches in concept form are really handy for when you are stuck for drawing something new, all you do is bring out the stack of used sketchbooks and have a flick through, you'll soon find old ideas that could provide new interest and a fresh way of resurrecting them ideas

If ever you have started a blog and have that classic thought of what the hell do I write next? then this post could possible help with some ideas, firstly there are some aspects and special methods that pro bloggers use and these are to help you plan your blog posts ahead, so that you can confidently agree and maintain your blogging momentum.

Mind mapping works quite well to some degree if you like to plan ahead then write in terms of specific words and phrases just start off with the general ones at first and then circle them on a piece of paper, these will be your top categories, then you can write other ideas and words surrounding the main words, don't worry if it all looks like just words,if you care about your blog then you will see what blog posts could come out of these mind maps

Yes that certainly is right, writing is to be done all day and anytime you can, writing for me is writing my minds thoughts on my blogs or a writing pad, because if I ever think of things that I should write down and I don't, then that is wasted thoughts and you can never get them back later on!!

Good luck with your writing projects!

All of your old blog posts, you link them to relevant new blog posts that you create...!

This creates relevant posts for further reading on your blog.

Building a content library is what a blog is partly about, that and interacting with your readers!

@Lilla I like your blog about dreams on the dream herald I have described a dream I've been having and await your interpretation of it.

This blog for me is a way to connect with other bloggers andsee what they are doing and what they blog about and how to build networks through blogs.

The blogosphere networks are the community for our blogs!!

on Do You Have A Dream You Want Interpreted?

July 21st 2008 18:41
I have a couple of re-ocurring dreams where I am eating cheese that makes me sick, whilst in the middle of an alien invasion and there is a barn and a horse is sticking it's head through the top half of a barn door and the other side of it's head is alive with alien tentacles...the barn is on fire and there is smoke everywhere and all I have as a weapon is a wooden spoon that is too small anyway!

I don't know what the hell it means, I have several other variations of this dream at times where I am holding different things or the horse is a cow etc.

Am I a Crazy twat!??

I'm always fascinated with writing stories and the creation of stories to such a degree that I am working on some myself, fantasy and horror stories are the best and soon I would want to get mine published in as many online places as possible, cafepress, lulu, amazon etc.

Although I do the illustrations for my stories aswell this would be a fascinating topic to create on my fantasy art blog, cheers for the inspiration and some nice writing there!!

on Why do you blog?

I blog to write, but also as a stepping stone to something else in life I suppose, I feel I have more to give than, just being a regular guy with a regular job, I like to inform and help people out online and even offline.

Blogging for me is a way to organize all of my favourite content that I love to write about and presenting it to an audience who may like to read it.

I like blogging because you usually know what you are writing about and have confidence to do so, in real working life people I know cannot relate to what I do know, so here and there with a blog I can just blog on!
