Was it a Bad Shooting Night for the Magics; Or was it Kobe too Hard to Stop?

: 2009 NBA Finals
Ok, I know. My prediction about the Magics winning was wrong! I never knew how strong Kobe and LA would turn out to be in game 1. I thought Orlando will be ready for this game, until Kobe fired from all cylinders...The Magics were caught unprepared for Kobe's attack.

But could this be first finals game jitters for Orlando? Well, their fans hope so. But the Lakers fans think the other way around. After seeing that inspiring pre-game presentation-"OUR TIME IS NOW". It seems no one can stop them at the Staples Center. And so I expect LA to win in game 2.

But you know what surprised me in game 1? It's Jameer Nelson playing, after being out for four months. Yes I know he is a big-time, all-star point guard. But then again you have to question his readiness in this series.

I fear that Orlando's flow might get disrupted a little bit. Nelson have not played all post-season games until game 1 of the NBA Finals. Of course the NBA finals is a different thing, more competitive, more glorious than any other regular or post-season games....

Let's just hope to see his explosiveness returning for the next games. When this happens, who will have to stop him, when he's got all the weapons- shooting, passing, stealing, and even a better three-point shooter than Alston.

Yes I might be wrong about the Magics grabbing game 1. But I was right when I said Lakers' big men can dominate against Dwight Howard. The problem here now is how will the perimeter shots go when LA can implore single coverage against Dwight Howard. Of course Orlando will have to think twice before shooting because right there in front of the shooters are defensive players like Fisher, or Ariza, or Odom, or Kobe.

Player of the game:
Kobe Bryant- 40 classic points, 8 rebounds, and 8 assists. HE MIGHT NOT BE MJ IN THE MAKING, BUT HE SURELY IS MAKING A NAME FOR HIMSELF.

And what about Lamar Odom? He finished the games with 14 rebounds, a block, and 11 points.
