War on Drugs...Dutch Style!

If one wants to come up with a reason why the war on drugs is failing, one only needs to pay attention to the Dutch. In the Netherlands possession is legal but cultivation isn't. Sounds like double-standard that is doomed to fail to me!
So the Dutch police that seem like the equivalent of the Keystone Kops, destroyed some 47,000 plants they seized from a University. The plants were a legal experiment that the police ruined.

Pot is after all a member of the hemp family!
