Want to smack Kevin Rudd? Play Now!

As this Censorship bullshit continues, with the Federal Government taking absolutely no interest in what the people of the country feel towards it, I am overcome with fury and a violent urge to rebel...
Jennifer Dudley-Nicholson of Brisbane’s Courier-Mail writes on November 11 that readers of the newspaper on-line “have blasted plans for Australia's mandatory internet filter to block as many as 10,000 websites”.
The websites form a blacklist of unspecified "unwanted content", Broadband Minister Stephen Conroy revealed in Federal Parliament.

...To take away my right to information is a violation of my rights as a human being! Kevin Rudd and his slimly cronies are not going to walk into my life and rip something like this away from me without a fight!
I only hope that if this disgraceful authoritarian law is passed, that enough people will band together and take a class action against the government. Because as far as politics goes… it is only the loss of precious funds that make them stand up and take any notice.
Which brings me to my next thought…
My opinion (as I believe I am still legally allowed to have and to share – for now at least) is that we should strike in some way.
Remember, it’s the Labor Party in power now, and they understand the necessity of unionised mentality – it would be contradictory of them to oppose.
So, we could form a Union of the People… and organise a “legal” strike. We don’t work… They lose money.
Or, we hold back our taxes until ‘Lil Kev and Stevie Conroy pull their heads out of their arses. What are they going to do? Arrest everyone and lock us all up?
No, if they have any sense, they would do a triple back-flip and start kissing the arses of the hands that feed them!
I think they are under-estimating the potential of the Australian people. Yes, we can be quite laid back, and may not notice when someone is building a cage around us, but at some point we will wake up and find ourselves trapped.
Then watch out!
We may not be a nation renowned for its political mindedness - and I believe that is why the government has gotten away with it this far - but let’s just hope we become a nation renowned for standing up for ourselves against a government with totalitarianism ideals.
