V-Rock Disney tracklist

July 20th 2011 06:37
Some of you may have already know this, but for those you who didn't know yet this might surprise you a little bit. As you can see our lovely visual-kei bands are making covers for Disney songs. Okay, that's weird but here's the tracklist:

Kawamura Ryuuichi - Beauty and the Beast [Beauty and the Beast]
NIGHTMARE - Fantasia [Fantasia]
NIGHTMARE - A Friend like me [Aladdin]
Plastic Tree - Chim Chim Cher-ee [Mary Poppins]
PENICILLIN - Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride [Lilo & Stitch]
NINJAMAN JAPAN - When You Wish Upon a Star [Pinocchio]
CASCADE - Heigh-Ho [Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs]
THE KIDDIE - Supercalifragilisticexpialido cious [Mary Poppins]
DASEIN - You’ll be in My Heart [Brother Bear]
Sadie - This is Halloween [Nightmare Before Christmas]

So, did you spot your favorite bands in the list? I spot Plastic Tree~

The preorder for V-Rock Disney is not yet available so I'll let you know if the preorder is already available in CDJapan.

First of all, I just can't believe it that they're doing covers for Disney songs because...I'm not that into Disney songs, lol. But it'll be good to see what kind of sound it turns out. This will definitely be awesome right?

On the second thought, I'm not sure these songs are actually available in Japanese version but it would be...hilarious if they sang in English, lol.

EDIT: The preorder is already available on CDJapan. If you're interested to buy this album, you can preorder your copy here

Indeed. I'm not that fond of Disney songs but it would be interesting how visual-kei version will turn out.

The preorder is already available on CDJapan, so if you're interested to buy you can order it here.

I have no money to buy it Suhaili :/

I already have a hard time keeping up with buying whatever J-rock CDs I do purchase.

I'm not a fan of Disney songs either but.. yeah cause this is related to v-kei I'm curious about the results as well~

Yeah, me too. I also have no money to buy so I just wait for any kind soul to rip this album, lol. Besides that, the only band that I like in the album is Plastic Tree so it's not even worth a buy for me unless they cover half or all of the tracks~

well the first songs I'll listen to after someone rips the album, are those of Plastic Tree's and Sadie's.. and yeah like you said I'm also not a huge fan of all the artists featured here. But the thing is, I would have still bought this amusing album if j-rock CDs weren't so expensive ~ When it comes to j-rock music , the buying-and-finding-out-whethe r-I-like-a-certain-band-or-no t doesn't work for me cause of monitory reasons. Otherwise, music itself isn't expensive ~ It's only j-rock which burns huge holes in my poor wallet.

I do come across a few jrock fans with tons of cash who're like 'ah i bought to see whether I like this album or not ..' and I'm like 'whoa o_O ' As for me..I've already started saving for further releases in the far future like.. a future-Gaze DVD . If I don't save from now on, I'll have trouble later~

Yeah, you're right about that. To be honest, visual-kei is really expensive and those producers in Japan failed to realize that we international fans may not be able to get to know the bands if we didn't download their songs. I can't spend on CDs so lavishly because apart from the fact that the CD itself is expensive, shipping cost doesn't do any justice to me. They want more people to listen but they never like the idea of distributing the music via digital site like Hear Japan. I'm sorry to say that money doesn't grow on tree so not everyone can afford to buy the album especially yen has become stronger than ever.

Yeah, I'm saving money as well just in case Gazette is releasing another DVD. But maybe not for the time being. At least we have time to save before they really do decide to release a DVD. The singles and the album already ripped me off and the DVD will be even worst *sigh*
