The leaves of lagundi are boiled in water. The solution formed which is the decoction is strained and applied to the affected part while still warm for healing wounds.
The lagundi seeds are boiled in water. The boiled seeds are eaten formed in boiling the seeds in water is drank as an antidote to prevent the spread of the poison from the bites of poisonous animals. Eating the boiled seeds and drinking the decoction will give better results. The Lagundi leaves are used as emmenagogue.
