Just a quick note on this...
Some people seem to think that "awakening" a clanmate takes them out of zombie mode. Well, it doesn't. As far as I can tell, this is how it works:
A random selection of your clanmates who are zombied out get to be on your awaken list.
If you "awaken" them, you publish a link on their profile page. If they click on that link, they get a miniscule amount of blood.
How miniscule? Well... I just clicked on a link, and I received 1.79% of my hourly blood income. I suspect the amount might be what you need to restore yourself to full health.
I could only click on one link (and I'm not sure how often it resets... every day? every few hours? every time you spend blood to restore health?).
You can't click on someone else's link.
