Vampire Fancy Dress - Halloween 2009
November 23rd 2011 21:52
So, another previously unmentioned hobby is Fancy Dress - I love getting dressed up (note the profile pic!) however my favourite is horror make up. It's a newish hobby and one I found by mistake.
I've worked for a travel company in Preston for the past 4 years and each Halloween staff are encouraged to dress up for the day (they do make quite an effort) so I decided for my first one in 2009 that I'd go as a vampire; gotta love a vampire!.
The First advantage of this idea is that I could wear black so no need to buy anything as I could use my existing wardrobe for a costume.
The second is that I could try and have a go at vampire make up - I trawled the web and youtube for ideas.
Thirdly I could wear a wig- love them
Fourthly I could wear some Halloween contacts!
So I was all set and here's the results... I dragged some of my team round the local Morrison's at lunch - we certainly got some funny looks!
I also re used this whole fancy dress idea the following Christmas Day night at my friend's party - that year's theme was anything not Christmas!!
