Two Words I Never Want to Hear Again

Hockey-mom
Maverick
Come on. If you are going to focus on being a "hockey-mom" and bring up your family as much as you do, then be prepared to have others, including the so-called "liberal media," also bring it up.
John McCain is a simply a sell-out that gave up his "maverick" status in order to win this nomination. He is so ridiculously entrenched in the do-nothing Washington politics, it is laughable that he is trying to re-live whatever reformist ways he used to espouse. How can a man that has been in the Senate for so long suddenly promise change from the Bush status quo? How can you trust a man that has over 150 special interest lobbyists on his campaign staff?
As an intelligent woman, I am nothing but offended by the Sarah Palin choice. I would love to have a female in the White House, but I would rather have an honest and responsible one. She didn't sell that plane, she didn't turn down the "bridge to nowhere" or at least not the "earmarked" money for it, and I really think it would be irresponsible to put anyone who doesn't believe in global warming a breath away from leading this nation in what will be the defining crisis of human history.
Would McCain have chosen Palin if Obama had chosen Hillary?
And I for one don't want a self-described "pitbull" as a representative for our weakened nation. Pitbulls are agressive creatures that bite before they think.
We need a thinker in the White House. Not another redneck who is reactionary. No more diversions, no more lies, no more wars.
