Good morning all,
Hope all is well. Another dreary day today. My daughter is napping, so time to blog! Scouring the writing websites to see how I can market myself and the manuscript that I wrote. Hope that I can find some agent or publisher, because the noose is tightening.
Besides finishing writing, this was another hectic weekend. I coach my daughter's softball team and they had their last game. She is 6 and they are all for the most part little girls. All adorable, with a couple of exceptions, but no names. This has been my 4th season coaching and it has been fun to watch her get better from the 4 year old just starting out where she was the smallest on the team. (She's not that big now). Also, I can proudly say that my girls are much more organized than the boys of the same age on my son's team. I volunteered to coach, but was not accepted. My daughter's games interfered with my son's games some times. I wish that I was able to be at more early on, because while my son's coaches were all nice guys, I didn't feel they were properly taught even the basics. I know they were only 4 & 5 year olds, but so was my daughter when she started. Oh well, maybe it will be his turn for me to coach next season. Speaking of which, he had a game on Sunday and they are now doing coach pitch first before using the tee. On his first pitch, my 4 year old son hit it without the tee. Yes, I am a beaming Daddy. Also started another blog on sports. Sportszebras.com. I know it is a stupid name, but that's what it is. Some friend suggested it because of refs being called zebras in football and for lack of a better name I used it.
Anyway, until tommorow,
Jonathan
