Greatest Golf Movie Ever Made
Time for a true comedy to make the list. There are plenty of comedies to start off with, but I know this one is the best for the start. Caddyshack is truly the best golf movie ever made. I think the reason for that is because you don't even have to like golf to love this movie. An amazing cast is what really drives this movie to greatness. Bill Murray really shines in this movie, making me laugh every time I see him in the film.

For those of you who don't know this movie, first of all, WOW!!! You either are very young or have been sheltered for many years in a well. I'll be kind and let you know a bit about this movie. Caddyshack is about this caddy,,,,duh, who is trying to get a caddy scholarship for college. The club doesn't know who they want to pick so they hold a tournament for the caddies and who wins is most likely to get the scholarship. This well respected golf club soon gets turned upside down when Rodney Dangerfield comes and starts betting on everything. Chevy Chase plays the best golfer in the club, but not when he's under pressure. One of the best characters is Bill Murray, who is trying to get rid of a gopher problem on the course.

If you haven't figured it out already, this is an 80's movie. Just because its an 80's movie doesn't mean it isn't any good anymore. This movie continues to come on TV all the time and on HBO. "It's in the hole," is one of the best quotes in this film. "Cinderella story, outta nowhere." The comedy in this movie is very witty and slapstick, yet perfect. It isn't just a dumb comedy or a stuff you have heard before. This is a very unique golf movie and you will most certainly love this film.

Lets bring this home shall we. Caddyshack deserves to be on the movie greats because it original and unforgettable. Whether you are looking for a cheap laugh to funny situations, this movie has it all. I would definitely recommend buying the DVD because of special features and such, and would be great for a collection. I would assume if you were collecting movies this would have been on the top of your list. All in all you can't go wrong with this film. It's certainly a Hole In One! Sorry, couldn't help myself.

Stand By Me

Stand By Me
Sick Balls!
I'm back fairly quickly for the next movie great. This one is kind of a oldie. The movie Stand By Me is one of the most interesting stories you will ever see in some time. Seeing a lot of young actors in their time and John Cusack starting his career. This is my favorite movie of all time. Not that my opinion of this movie influences it to be a great. Okay, Maybe.

Let my put this story down if you have never heard of it. Stand By Me is a story about a couple of boys going on a journey to find a body of a missing boy from town. The story mainly focuses on a boy that is neglected by his family because of the death of the older son. Each character holds a struggle between their family members, from their father, to brothers. As the journey they bond together and bring out the best in each other. Their are a character of teenagers that try to find the missing boy before the kids so they can make some money. The boys find out that there is more to life than just money and popularity. It's a story about not holding yourself back for others and doing what is best for you, letting friends help you along the way.

Now I know this sounds very touching and no way would a guy go see this movie, but you would be surprised. You will find yourself laughing much of the time and then instantly engaged in the emotions of the characters. " I don't shut up, I grow up, and when I look at you, I throw up." One of my favorite quotes from the movie. "Then your mother comes around the corner and she licks it up." Hahaha. I was surprised to find out later that the film is based off the book "The Body" by Stephen King. This movie isn't scary at all. It's more of a comedy than anything else. So don't let that scare you.

Stand By Me deserves to be apart of the movie greats because you will find yourself thinking about this movie all the time. Whether dealing with friends or family members you can relate to this movie. A great cast and a brilliant director makes the movie so incredible and entertaining. You can't go wrong with this film. Just as long, as you stand, Stand By Me.

I Am Sam

I Am Sam
All You Need Is Love
Okay, so if you have never seen I Am Sam then you probably are either blind are have been in prison for some time. This is Sean Penn doing what he does best, Acting. Not being a retard. You guys are funny. This movie as the an effect on me every time I watch it. You can't help but focus on each scene and caring so much for each character. I bought this movie when I got my first dvd player which was actually the original xbox. I had to buy I new one just recently because the other got all scratched up.

If you haven't seen I Am Sam, you need to. It's an amazing story about a man that is "slow" and he has a daughter. As the daughter grows up she begins to surpass her fathers knowledge and social services wants to take her away, since Sam (her father) won't be able to raise her. Sam decides to get a lawyer, who you find out may need a person like Sam in her life.

This movie is great for any type of movie watcher. There is brilliant comedy and excellent acting. I find myself thinking of the movie while I'm at school day dreaming. There are so many gripping scenes and you feel like you are there right beside him the whole movie. I'm not afraid to say that I cry every time during this film. "All you need is love." That sentence is what this movie is about.

You can find the DVD at Best Buy and such. I recommend buying it the next time you are out. The DVD comes with some cool features and bloopers that are really funny to watch. You get to see how Sean becomes Sam and see how careful he is with the subject. You would definitely want to have this movie apart of your film collection. This move is for sure a great in my book and I think everyone that has seen would agree.

Yes Man. Well, Maybe.

Yes Man
YES!
So I went and saw Yes Man this past weekend with my girlfriend. I paid for the both of us because I like to make the lady happy. I decided to read some reviews before I went to see the movie, which I don't do often. The reason why is because when I saw the trailer, I wasn't to sure about this film. It seems everybody was giving this movie a poor review. I love Jim Carrey. I'm an actor myself, only in college right now, and most of the people say that I remind them of Mr. Carrey. I was intending to watch this movie no matter what the reviews said.

I always like to give a quick run down about the movie just in case you have no idea what I'm talking about. Jim Carrey plays a man named Carl who is afraid of committing to anything. He never says yes to anything his friends what to do or people on the street may ask. He is depressed most of the time because he is afraid that people may just get bored of him anyway so he just stays detached. A buddy runs into Carl and gets him to attend a seminar about saying yes. Thus begins Carl's life of yes and, this isn't much of a surprise, yes starts to turn his life around. He meets a new girl and work is better and everything seems to be happier in his life
