Traveling Companions

My truck is a dinging piece of junk, but its still on the road. When I went through Reno yesterday I picked up a couple of passengers who had a worse off truck than mine. Theirs broke down for the last time at a truck stop and I get to return them to the yard. First we have to deliver my load to Oakland, Calif., then pick up another load, then run all the way back east so the boss can give them a new truck. Maybe even one thatll run for awhile this time. Well, at least they can both drive so well make the trip in one long shot. Its gonna be a few really long days... ding... ding... ding...
