Torture of suspects.

I've just read a post about 'torture of suspects' Where has our humanity toward our fellow beings gone? Why do we continue to bomb and destroy each other? If we want to stop acts of terrorism could we not give our excess food, our teaching, our excess products to those nations that need help? No-one needs a missile with explosives dropped onto their community. People in this world are starving. People in this world have no means of self education, no medicine,poor housing, no roads People in this world are in abject poverty and we talk of 'toture' to extract infomation.' Why not have an army of 'builders, of educators, of medicine'? then I believe we would be welcomed- not shot at-nor have to shoot back!

I wrote this one months back .
My conclusiuon is that people can think of any idea in the abstract but are reluctant to do it them selves. The chance of being caught, punished or shamed is a big deterant.
