25. Lee Da Hae (Korea)
Actress.
Born 19th April 1984.
Having graduated from high school in Sydney, Australia (Burwood Girls High School), Lee Da Hae later moved back to Seoul to pursue her acting career. Lee Da Hae is now one of the most popular TV drama actresses in Korea, as well as other Asian countries where her dramas have been viewed. Her popularity first rose after starring in "My girl".
Lee Da Hae also has a passion for traditional Korean dance.
She has one of the sweetest smiles and her chubby cheeks give her a very beautiful balance.
24. Eva Huang (China)
Actress.
Born 11th February 1983.
Eva graced the Movie screen in 2004, with no lines and not even much screen time. Yet, she instantly became famous for this popular role in Stephen Chow's "Kung Fu Hustle", and became known as "the lollipop girl". She is still quite new in the entertainment industry, only appearing in a few movies and TV dramas, but because of her beauty, she will forever be remembered for her first role in Kung Fu Hustle.
23. Hwangbo (Korea)
Singer, Actress.
Born 16th August 1980.
I first came to know Hwangbo from the popular variety show "We got married". Hwangbo was a former member of the pop group Bros, and later became a member of Chakra, where she was the leader and rapper. In 2007 she released her solo album. She possesses a very funky sense of style and is very trendy. From "We got married", we see the humourous, competitive and caring side of her, and this is what makes her really attractive. Throughout her career, apart from appearing on "We got married" she has also appeared on many other variety shows, revealing a tomboyish, down-to-earth personality. She has also appeared in two movies. Coupled with her attractive personality, her eyes and lips are also traits that make her very beautiful.
22. Bernice Liu (Hong Kong)
Former Miss Chinese International, Actress, Singer, Model.
Born 6th January 1979.
Born and brought up in Canada, Bernice took the crown for Miss Chinese Vancouver in 2000, and later went on to represent Vancouver in Miss Chinese International 2001, which she also won. She immediately gained popularity in Hong Kong with her sweet smile and cute Western accent and style.
Her first TVB appearance was in the long running sitcom "Virtues of Harmony", where she became highly popular. In 2005, she debuted in the singing scene with her theme song for TVB drama "Into thin air", her beautiful voice surprised the audience, and added singing to her list of talents. Originally, with a limited knowledge of Cantonese, Bernice has now improved and has starred in numerous TVB dramas.
With her beauty she has also received many endorsements including becoming the first Asian Nike spokesperson. In 2007, she claimed the title of TVB's top earning spot, earning $4.8 million (HKD), beating award-winning actress Charmaine Sheh.
21. Gigi Lai (Hong Kong)
Actress, Singer.
Born 1st October 1971.
Not far from 40, Gigi is still looking far from her real age, with her ever youthful appearance and love for beauty (in her early years, she would turn down roles that affect her appearance onscreen), the Hong Kong media nicknamed her "Goddess of Beauty". In recent years, with her growing maturity, she has adopted less superficial critically acclaimed roles. She has since won Best Actress.
Though better known for her acting career, Gigi actually started off as a singer, releasing many albums in the 90's. Her popularity rose after playing the memorable role of the stuttering "Smartie" in the "Young and Dangerous" movie series.
In October 2008, Gigi shocked the Hong Kong audience, officially retiring from showbiz to look after her brother's company after he was seriously injured in a car accident in 2007. At the beginning of this year, she also announced that she would be getting married to a man 15 years her senior.
I will miss seeing Gigi in TVB dramas, as she has always been one of my favourites, but i will never forget her talent and beauty that has graced us for the past 23 years and i hope to see her return one day.
