In season 08 in the NRL there have been many complaint by fans that todays game isnt as good as it used to be and these are just a few of the complaints. The first one isthat the referees are to soft and that they go to the video referee to many times in a game causing the game to run slowly, many people are saying scrap video referees and put in a in goal referee at each end and put on a second ref and i agree with both ideas i believe that these ideas will make the game run more faster and more smoothly.
The second one is that in todays game on many occasions the game runs into extra time i believe we should go back to the past and bring back the rule when the game is drawn at fulltime the teams recieve 1 point each. The only time extra time should be used is during representive and finals matches where it should be the first team to score a try.
