Living within, living without.
The heart, the mind rejoices.
Hanging by a thread
No tears, a smile instead.
A layoff? No.
A terminally ill child? No.
Your love for me? Yesssss.
A flat tire, a leaky radiator,
Another transmission gone.
Bills to pay, losing our way?
No, not today.
Today, we have it all.
We live, we laugh.
No sadness, no pain.
No radiation, no paralysis...
We are rich in our blessings, today.
Love, hugs and kisses times four.
No addiction, no tragedy ensues.
Just problems of the usual sort,
to remind us it could always be
worse.
To remind us how good we have it,
Today.
