'Tis time to say goodbye....
The new year has begun with a bang, many things to do, many things to start and other paths to travel down. Unfortunately we only have so many hours in the day to do these things and it is a struggle to meet the demands of Orble as well as juggle everything else at the same time.
So I will no longer be posting to my other two blogs and perhaps not as much to this one. I will continue to comment on others blogs. There are a lot of thought-provoking posts on here that continue to teach me new things everyday.
Will see you all around this great Orble land that has become so familiar over the past few months....just in fleeting visits this time
Thanks for all the comments and encouragement, it has meant a lot.
To Lily, Lilla, Tracy, katyzzz, Opto, JoshZ, Mrs M, DuskDevi - thanks for your support! I look forward to continue reading your blogs, they give me some good balance - laughs, tears, new ideas........and an excuse to drink loads of Pina Colada`s !!!!

Ars Poetica
You are a beautiful soul, that has taught me much... when human beings let all their wa-wa's hang out.... you just stride around them, not blinking, and point out some gem.. i love that about you... you see the beauty...
I for one am sorry to see you go... my days are numbered too dearheart... hope we can keep in touch via other means than the Orble pigeon....
lovenhugs with a pina and a cheers,
~Lily

I will miss you. I'm glad you will still be around though. I've loved your blogs and your kind words...I can almost feel your smile when you write.
I understand your decision though, sadly blogging isn't earning me much cashola either and sometimes it's hard to fit it all in.
Good luck with it all, I've been meaning to ask you how your car is?
Enjoy a pina for me

I do feel your smile when you write. I felt it the first time I read a post of yours, twas a Pacific (Fiji?) sunset.
Your posts...your personality...you...will be missed Ash.
Your photographic eye...
...and your feminine aye....!!
(well, you know where to find
Larkhaminspiration)I completely understand.
This does take up a lot of time (not writing the posts....the reading and commenting...one can lose days!)....with all the demands we and others place on ourselves, something has to give.
My advantage is that I work from home and my husband is away and my children are grown.
My disadvantage is that I work from home and my husband is away and my children are grown!
I am happy that you will still be around Ash.
Be well. Go in strength.

Orble just grew a little darker, a little less poetic, and lost a little purity.
I'll be stopping by Ash. Don't stop stopping by us. We'd all miss you too much.

I have a similar working situation as you, Dusk. I work from home and my husband does long hours so I find blogging fits in well. But like you the situation does have its disadvantages too!!

Thanks for your very kind words my friend. I look forward to reading your poetry as long as you are here on Orble after which you will have to email me some so I can get my weekly dose of it! I love its emotional openness.
(I know I harp on about this *lol*) but there really is beauty inside everything you just have to search for it until you find it, even if the little bugger is lurking in some dark, deep corner!!
See you around gal pal
*cheers and hugs*

Yes I will still be floating around the place every now and again and of course coming over to see your artworks, for as long as you are putting them up.
I like our little community that we have here in Orble land, however it is not the real world where we have such hectic demands unfortunately.
I am on the water for now - one of those cleansing things you see - it`s my January thing. 1st of Feb? Pina Colada`s are going to go down well!!!!
Ah this little chicken is the DUMB part of WISDUMB *lol* - lots to learn to fill this empty head!
Wishing lots of luck in your future exhibitions.

Will miss you too! Hope the smiles are contagious!!
I enjoy blogging, I don`t really care much about the money now, it is more like heading down to the pub at the end of the day for a get-together really. However, the real world has its responsibilities and mine are about to double so I will have to make it a weekend thing now instead.
My little car (his name is PUMBA, you know from "The Lion King" *lol*) is still sick. There is a patch of grass growing under him now! I am waiting for a friend to come back from wherever he has disappeared to so that he can fix it. Shouldn`t be too much longer I hope, I hate, hate, HATE public transport and relying on other people for lifts - drives me nuts!!!!
See you soon Tracy dear. Look forward to reading your new post - seems your writers block has shifted now!

Yep that would be the sunset, that magical one in Fiji..................ah sorry floated off for a second there!
I know what you mean about losing days - it`s addictive this whole blogging thing! Everyone has so much to say you cannot help but read on!
Ah i would love to work from home - that is my goal! I imagine it is difficult if your husband and kids are not there with you, though that could also be an advantage sometimes!
Look forward to seeing you around oh mutual lover of beauty!
*cheers*
Ash
ps you pose an excellent point - there should not really need to be an excuse to drink Pina Colada`s really!

Talk about losing days....today...I had promised myself a solid day in front of the computer doing research and prepping for new features (I'm a journo).
My older children took the youngest to the beach and I had no intention of leaving the house.
And...I was not going to visit Orble...
HA!
The only advantage to having grown kids and a husband who is temporarily away is that I can stay up all night and write....to make up for the working day hours wasted... well, not wasted....you know what I mean....reading and commenting.
This is slowly becoming a vice...both in habit and the way I'm held...it's gripping drama!
Hope Pumba gets moving soon and yes to what Lilla asked, an inspirational photo now and then....and I'll do the same (wink wink).
Hope you are well lovely Ash.

Tracy...
Glad you understand. Like with all things, there is merit and there is fault, it's up to the individual to police it... and I was arrested for sure today!
Hope you are well and unblocked (unblogged? reblogged??)

Not it is not really goodbye for this blog, for the other two yes, for this one not really, just a little less time I think.
I enjoy reading your blog - makes me laugh...especially the new quotes you have going! *lol* those alien creatures that we live side by side with could provide any woman with a #1 Best Seller!!! Can`t live with them, can`t live without them I guess!
Looking forward to loads more

Photo requests? Oh avec plaisir...oh ooops....witha pleasha.
Get rid of me? ME? It would be harder to get rid of ice on Christmas Day.....come to think of it that could actually happen.....hhhhmmmmm *stops to ponder* , although do we really ever get rid of ice? I mean when it melts it just becomes water, which in effect is only melted ice, unless of course we drink it, but then it just becomes part of the body.....Oh gosh I have been reading Adrian`s blog too much
Ok I will leave off there before I get committed
ciao

Ah I know what you mean, although I managed to stay away for a rather large chunk of the day yesterday and got huge amounts of work done....thank goodness!! I need to wean myself off, you know us addicts need a little help, quitting cold turkey could leave us jittering idiots!
I find my greatest temptation at night too. I hate watching TV so generally sit in front of the computer to get work done and bang! I find myself on here and before I know it, I can feel myself starting to nod off and it is bed time. I think I need to use a computer that is not connected to the internet, then it would be less of a temptation.
You know Pumba is really starting to tick me off actually. I have tried to help the little guy out, starting him every day, making sure he is insulated against the sun, washing off all the rain marks and do you think he does anything to meet me half way? I mean you can only help so much before they have to start helping themselves........ha ha!
Pics? With pleasure. Yes please do the same, I find your artistic pieces very informative and encouraging. You certainly do have an eye for beauty.......
